Back in my newsreading days where I worked 5 days a week as a journalist, then did sessions with clients as I built my business on the side, writing and publishing a book, I was doing a lot.
And yes it was stressful.
I was getting sick all the time because I didn’t know how to STOP!
That’s when I was hit head-on with the possible diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.
When we get sick it’s our bodies way of telling us to slow the hell down… and listen.
Listen to what our body is trying to tell us.
Your body will only stop working properly and run out of fuel, if you don’t treat it right.
Stress flicks mud onto onto your flawless self.
It was during this time that I made a conscious effort to turn off Stress Avenue and start driving down Relaxation Boulevard.
You cannot have perfect health and be stressed.
If you’re stressed, your body can’t function properly and carry out its duties as it is designed to.
