‘If this program was placed in a pill and labeled anti-depressant, Tamra would be the wealthiest woman on the planet. This program not only gave me the tools to get my life back on track it possibly saved it!!’

Before I share my journey and how I overcome depression, frequent suicide attempts and panic attacks, feel free to watch my interview on Channel 10’s The Circle

If you’re trapped in the depression dungeon of doom and gloom it can be difficult to see the possibilities. Let this website be your first ray of sunshine to shed light on the truth of what depression really is. Depression is an illness that starts in the subconscious mind due to our childhood conditioning and develops into a life-crippling condition.

When you begin to work with the subconscious mind you start to break the patterns. Your internal tape-recorder that keeps repeating the phrases: ‘I’m not good enough’, ‘I’m alone’ or ‘I’m not pretty or smart enough’ finally shuts up long enough for you to start the journey of turning your life around. Suddenly that negative voice transforms into a friendly companion that fills you with confidence, instead of self-doubt. Is it possible to think positively about yourself in such a healthy way?

While it may be inconceivable right now, the answer is absolutely YES!

Take a listen to this 45-minute audio which explains how the subconscious mind creates issues such as a depression and anxiety…

In my early 20s I was officially diagnosed with severe clinical depression. I was placed on anti-depressants and sent to a number of psychologists and counsellors. It was when I was about to be placed in a mental home, after I’d become a risk to myself and the doctors deemed I would always have depression and need medication for the rest of my life, that I promised myself that I would find a cure for depression.

What followed was years of scientific and spiritual research, much trial and error as I used myself as a guinea pig, personal analysis and trainings in a vast range of psychological healing modalities, until I was able to develop a ten-session program where I could get a person depression and pill free, while at the same time eliminating anxiety.

I now work as a Self-Love Therapist – some prefer to call me a Mental Health specialist – but regardless of the label, I help people overcome depression for life. Tess from Adelaide is just one of the many clients who I have helped get over her depression and live a life she absolutely adores…

My Book: The Upside of Down

Once I had the formula for curing depression I shared my personal story in my Lifeline endorsed book The Upside of Down: A personal journey and toolkit for overcoming depression. If you’re reading this, I can only assume you are wanting help, so if you’re not sure you’re ready to start my ten-session program out of depression, this is the place to start.

0-upside-of-down-book-coverMy book tells my personal story, and how dealing directly with the subconscious mind, allowed me to clear the depression at the root cause. As a child we are programmed to think, act and behave a certain way. Between the ages of zero and seven we are like a sponge taking on all the mental gunk of the big people around us. As a result you may have been like me and started to believe ‘I’m not good enough’ or ‘I’m a failure’. Perhaps you took on some other doozies like ‘I’m not pretty enough’ or ‘I’m not intelligent enough’ or ‘I’m not worthy of love and happiness’.

Collecting these beliefs stops us loving ourself, and creates self-hate, self-loathing and self-doubt; all symptoms of depression and anxiety. The more dislike ourself, the more the depression sets in. The good news? Just as you took on these beliefs about yourself, so too can you strip them off. Break the patterns. Turn off the negative internal tape-recorder that keeps putting you down and making you feel bad about yourself.

What if that inner voice was transformed into a friendly companion that filled you with confidence as opposed to self-doubt? What if you could look in the mirror and be proud of who you are? Take a moment now to imagine a life where you love and accept yourself just the way you are. Where you experience happiness and joy daily. Where you believe in yourself and your abilities to create a life that puts a smile on your face.

Really allow yourself to feel into what that kind of life – where you love an accept yourself unconditionally – feels like…. While it may seem inconceivable right now, this is possible.

‘I began my sessions with Tamra in June 2012, with the intention of making my anxiety more manageable. I wasn’t sure to what extent Tamra would be able to help me, but feeling there may not be light at the end of the tunnel, what did I have to lose, right? Fast forward seven months and not only has working with Tamra exceeded my expectations but Tamra has helped me more than I could have imagined. One of my main concerns was that I wasn’t sure if I would play cricket again due to my anxiety getting so serious. In January 2013, I realised my dream of stepping back onto the cricket field and playing again – all thanks to Tamra.
The energy, excitement and knowledge that Tamra radiates is remarkable. She is amazingly understanding and helpful in understanding any situation. Tamra focuses on the positives and what steps to take in order to achieve one’s desired goals. Working with Tamra one-on-one has opened my eyes to new experiences and reinstated my personal confidence.  Tamra gave me the skills to be able to work through any issues that come up day-to-day, and to even overcome some of my even bigger fears. Tamra is fantastic to work with, there should be no hesitation in wanting to work with Tamra to get guidance and advice from her.
Having Tamra help me through individual sessions has exceeded my expectations by tenfold and has left me declaring myself anxiety free.’
