Is depression taking the fun out of life? Does anxiety keep you in a constant state or worry and panic? Are you stuck in a negative cycle you can’t seem to break out of, no matter how hard you try? Do you feel like you take one step forward only to relapse and go five steps back? And now for the big question….
Are you ready to break free from your prison?

If you answered ‘Yes’ to any or all of these questions, then please know that you can overcome depression and anxiety and become pill and worry free. You can create a life where you are relaxed, fulfilled and most importantly, happy. And I’d love to share the formula that has allowed me – and people all over the world – to do just that! So let’s start with looking at…

What causes depression?

Simply put: A collection of limiting beliefs a person hold’s about themselves and their life. You see, just as we learnt how to walk and talk from the big people around us as a child, so too do we learn how to think about ourself. From the moment we are conceived up until the age of seven we are programmed to think, act and behave in a certain way. We’re like a sponge. We take on everything! The positive stuff and the not so positive stuff.

So if your parents had an unhealthy relationship with themself, in that that they didn’t value or respect themselves, constantly talked themselves down or couldn’t express their emotions in a healthy manner, then you’re likely to do the same. Our parents are our role models after all! As a result of this modelling, you may have started to believe things like ‘I’m not good enough’ or ‘I’m a failure’. Perhaps you took on some other doozies like ‘I’m not pretty enough’ or ‘I’m not intelligent enough’ or ‘I’m not worthy of love and happiness’.

Collecting these beliefs stops us loving ourself, and creates self-hate, self-loathing and self-doubt; all symptoms of depression and anxiety. The more we dislike ourself, the more the depression sets in. The good news? Just as you took on these beliefs about yourself, so too can you strip them off. Break the patterns. Turn off the negative internal tape-recorder that keeps putting you down and making you feel bad about yourself.

While your thoughts do influence your actions and behaviours – you are NOT your thoughts. When you learn to rise above your thoughts, then you’re free to enjoy more happiness, more ease and more pleasure.

What if that inner voice was transformed into a friendly companion that filled you with confidence as opposed to self-doubt? What if you could look in the mirror and be proud of who you are? Take a moment now to imagine a life where you love and accept yourself just the way you are. Where you experience happiness and joy daily. Where you believe in yourself and your abilities to create a life that puts a smile on your face.

Really allow yourself to feel into what that kind of life – where you love an accept yourself unconditionally – feels like…. While it may seem inconceivable right now, this is possible, and in this 55-minute playshop I ran in 2014, I explain how. This tele conference was designed to give people an overview of how our subconscious programming effects all areas of our life.

If you’d like a more recent playshop, which also discusses the importance of working with the subconscious mind when wanting to overcome a mental illness, sign up for my free Self-Love Starter’s Kit at the top of the page, and I’ll send you The Art of Self-Love playshop.

How does Self-Love Therapy cure depression and anxiety?

Together we take a holistic approach, working with your mind, your body and your environment. In our sessions we will work directly with the subconscious mind to clear out the childhood programming (limiting beliefs and suppressed emotions) that are at the root cause of the depression.  This programming that caused the mental illness is stored in our subconscious mind which is responsible for 90% of our thoughts, actions and behaviours.

Hence to say, unless you’re working with subconscious mind techniques, all you’re really doing in a therapy session is shuffling information around, as opposed to clearing it out. Unfortunately 99% of therapists only work with the conscious mind, which is why people can spend years in therapy and not get better. Because we’ll be going straight to the root cause of the mental illness, and clearing it there, you will experience immediate results. The depression and/or anxiety will lift extremely quickly.

Due to this subconscious programming, you will have adopted habits and patterns of behaviour that are making the depression worse. So at the end of each session I will give you specific ‘homeplay’ to do in your own time that is designed to help you gently make lifestyle adjustments to support a healthy mind and a healthy body. By the end of the 5-month program you will have the tools and understanding to look after yourself in a way that supports you in staying mentally fit for life.

confidence-beliefWhy trust me to help you?

Because I know exactly how you’re feeling. I was diagnosed with severe clinical depression in my early 20s after struggling with the illness for years. I tried going on meditation which turned my colourful life to a black and white movie, devoid of any real feelings or excitement. I saw psychologists, counsellors and therapists to no avail. After deciding to come off the medication I became suicidal, and following a number of attempts at taking my own life I was given an option: Spend time in a mental home or go back on the medication.

I chose neither. Instead I made a decision that day to cure myself of depression. At the time I had no idea how I would do this. Every doctor and therapist I had seen had told me I’d need medication for life! So determined not to become a statistic, I began researching. I committed the next few years to learning everything I could about the human mind, the physical body and its chemical responses, using myself as a guinea pig to trial everything I was discovering. I trained in a vast range of psychological healing modalities and bit by bit, I started to get better.

The results you’re getting in life – whether they be bad or good – are simply a reflection of your programming.

Soon I was depression and pill free. So excited about my journey, and seeing how many others were going through the same struggles I had with depression, I did two things. I compiled all of my research, marrying it with personal experience and insight and published my first book The Upside of Down: A personal journey and toolkit for overcoming depression, which was endorsed by Lifeline Australia.

Here you can watch a video of me talking about that journey, when I was invited onto to Channel 10’s The Circle.

Next, I developed a 10-session program that could help others become depression and pill-free, just like me. That program is now my One-on-One Intensive and has been shown to heal a range of different life ailments. It’s a potent program that uses all of the things that work, so that you can clear out the depression and anxiety in just five months, and enjoy the rest of your life. We all deserve to be happy and healthy and that is why I’ve dedicated my life to sharing these tools with you.

So whether it’s anxiety, depression, overwhelming stress or any of the raft of mental illnesses that you’ve been diagnosed with, I look forward to helping you clear out the demons once and for all. 23-year-old John Milone shares his experience with this program, after coming to me wanting to overcome crippling anxiety.

‘I began my sessions with Tamra in June 2012, with the intention of making my anxiety more manageable. I wasn’t sure to what extent Tamra would be able to help me, but feeling there may not be light at the end of the tunnel, what did I have to lose, right? Fast forward seven months and not only has working with Tamra exceeded my expectations but Tamra has helped me more than I could have imagined. One of my main concerns was that I wasn’t sure if I would play cricket again due to my anxiety getting so serious. In January 2013, I realised my dream of stepping back onto the cricket field and playing again – all thanks to Tamra.
The energy, excitement and knowledge that Tamra radiates is remarkable. She is amazingly understanding and helpful in understanding any situation. Tamra focuses on the positives and what steps to take in order to achieve one’s desired goals. Working with Tamra one-on-one has opened my eyes to new experiences and reinstated my personal confidence.  Tamra gave me the skills to be able to work through any issues that come up day-to-day, and to even overcome some of my even bigger fears. Tamra is fantastic to work with, there should be no hesitation in wanting to work with Tamra to get guidance and advice from her.
Having Tamra help me through individual sessions has exceeded my expectations by tenfold and has left me declaring myself anxiety free.’

Yes, I’m ready to overcome depression and anxiety NOW!

  1. I am writing mainly to help my daughter. After finding out she and myself are not able to have vaginal orgasms. Well several years ago I purchased the jade egg from Kim Adami. Did her guidance but never invested in the full program. Anyway, still can’t have VO. I do have fabulous clitoral though. Anyway, my daughter is suffering from derealization depersonalization which causes anxiety. She is not able to drive. This has been going on for 5 years.
She is 33, married, no children, a special Ed teacher. You and your program seems like what she needs. She is seeing a psychologist for several years now. I like your approach and your purpose.
I myself was on zoom with you 3 weeks ago and I am doing your Yoga for the Vagina.
She knows nothing about what I’ve been doing. How should I introduce her to all this?

    1. Firstly, congrats on gifting yourself Yoga for the Vagina! Let the practices weave their way into your life, and simply surrender to the magic! Let go of any need to experience the deeper vaginal orgasms, as when we attach to a specific outcome, this can stifle the flow. So simply enjoy the practices, setting the simple intention to feel yourself that little bit more with each practice.

In regards to your daughter, it sounds like she could get a lot out of the One-on-One Intensive, but only if she resonates with my teachings and style, and feels ready to commit to the healing journey. My recommendation is that you share with her the Self-Love playshop, and if she is open to listening to it, then she will know if this is the path for her. You can access it at this link: https://gettingnaked.com.au/self-love-playshop/

      I hope that helps xx
