Welcome!

I’m so happy you’ve decided to journey into self-love with me.

Perhaps you’ve been practising love for a while now, or maybe you’re new to the whole self-love thang! No matter where you find yourself, know that what I will share with you today (and in coming weeks), will completely shift how you feel about yourself.

That is of course, if you’re willing to practise what I share. For, the magic really is in the doing. Unfortunately, simply understanding something doesn’t create self-love. You need to practise self-love.

Today I’m sharing with you a very simple practice. So simple, it only takes a few minutes every day. It’s called The Love Journal.

All you need to do, is write down three things you love about yourself each evening before bed. Yep, that’s it!!! Think of it, like a little mini date with yourself where you get to show yourself love.

Now if you think ‘Oh, what’s that going to do?’, know that the power lies in its simplicity. And to help you understand why this practice is so effective – and why I share it with all of my one-on-one clients – I’ve created an 20-minute audio which explains how this practice:

  • Helps you feel good about yourself
  • Builds confidence
  • Loosens your childhood conditioning
  • Positively impacts the rest of your life as a whole.

Having a positive internal dialogue with yourself forms the basis for how you live your life. Just think of how you would be, act on opportunities and behave, if your conversation with yourself was one of a positive nature… Mmmm… Possibly quite differently, right?

So, without further ado, make yourself a cuppa herbal tea, and let me share the magic of this practice with you. Don’t have time to do it right now? No probs.

Start your Love Journal TONIGHT – remember, it only takes a couple of minutes – and get your dairy or day planner out, and schedule a time to listen to this audio (or read the transcript) THIS WEEK. I say this week, because it’s very easy to put something off until ‘you have time’. But chances are, you will never have time; you need to create time. Create time to cultivate self-love.

So lock in a time in your dairy to listen to the audio – treat it like a date with yourself – so you can learn why this practice is so powerful. But like I said, you don’t need to listen to the audio first. You can start the Love Journal straight away; for the practice is what creates the magic, right! Then you can simply deepen and evolve your practice once you’ve listened to the audio.

And while you’re at it, introduce yourself!! Where are you from? What brings you to be on this self-love journey? And what inspires you in life? Let’s get to know each other and this gorgeous self-loving community!

  4. I am going to start in earnest daily writing in three thing I love about myself. What if they are the same ten things over and over? Everyday says “I am creative” for instance. But I guess if I really am creative everyday wont say the same thing 😂

    1. Hehe… yes, please be creative! They can be all sorts of things like ‘I love how I interacted with this person today’, ‘I love how my hair looks today’, or ‘I love the book I’m reading’. Once you get over the initial block you’ll realise there are soooo many things in your life to love! And yes, excited to be taking you on the deep One-on-One Intensive journey xx

  5. This is a practice that I’ve dabbled in but never committed to or actually followed through with, so of course it’s never worked. A few days ago I bought a new notebook with yes you can on the front I didn’t know what I was going to use it for but I was drawn to it. I found my favourite pink pen and tucked it down the spirals ready to use still unsure what I wanted to use it for. Then I received your 2nd gift n realised I hadn’t followed through on finding out what the 1st The love Journal was about. So I found the email and read our them made the time to listen to the audio and low and behold I have found a user for my new Journal.

    1. Perfect use for your journal! Be sure to commit to writing down three things every night before bed, because honestly, it’s one of the simplest practices, but one of the most powerful if you stick at it. It’s like a love-muscle that strengthens over time the more you do it. Enjoy!

  6. Great listening and wonderful lessons. From one therapist to another, we know we’re never the finished product. Thanks for sharing these wonderful, positive insights

  7. Dear Tamra, 2023 was a very difficult year for me, as my child has an autoimmune neurological condition which can cause abrupt flares, and urgent action plan. I felt helpless as educators were not able to keep her safe, implement her medical plan. We have moved schools, and my life has transformed! The love journal helped me to see that my highly skilled observations of my child, needs a little tweaking, so I can check in on myself more, use my skill set on myself! Now I am not on high alert all the time, I have “the right fit educators to support myself and my child” I am removed from the negativity, and “I deserve this support” express my gratitude! The love journal is exactly what I need at this time. Letting go of “It’s too hard” and embrace the valuable support! Use the time I do have to be more positive for me!! Heartfelt thank you Tamra! Shout out to those who find change hard!

    1. I’m so sorry to hear about your difficulties, but so happy to hear that the Love Journal has helped you at this time. Keep using it as it will continue to support you. Much love on this crazy journey we call life xx
