Work is such a big part of life (most of us spending at least 40 hours a week there), it’s important we have work life balance and our relationships in the workplace are supportive and nourishing. If either of these are missing, work performance is likely to falter, we’re more likely to get sick (costing employers in sick leave) and our personal lives often suffer too.

If you’re an employer and looking to boost staff morale, increase productivity and inject confidence in your employees, then Getting Naked Pty Ltd offer workplace workshops to impart practical skills to your staff specifically designed to help them love. If a person is passionate about what they do, they’ll perform better, are likely to stay with the employer for longer and will be a pleasure to work with.

The two workshops we offer are ‘Wellness In The Workplace’ and ‘Workplace Relations’. Please see below for details descriptions on both. If you’d like to find our more, please email tamra@gettingnaked.com.au and we can answer your questions and quote you on your individual needs.

Please also take a look at our Remarkable Relationships tele courses which are designed to help people develop relationship with self – and by that, we mean create the self-confidence needed to perform and relate better with colleagues. This is being used as a training program for large corporations, to ensure staff are the confidence and belief in themselves to perform tasks to the necessary standard.

WORKPLACE RELATIONS

Workshop

Worrying what others think of you can be so confronting and demoralising it can diminish an employee’s confidence, impacting on their performance, ability to interact with others in a coherent, meaningful manner, thus leading to loss of productivity and resolve in one’s abilities. Once a person loses their belief in themselves, they struggle to work to their full potential and are more likely to engage in ineffective communication and sabotaging behaviours.

In this one to three hour (depending on individual workplace needs) workshop, participants will learn what’s needed to take complete control of how they perceive events and the interactions they have with their work colleagues. Once a person understands how to engage in difficult conversations and communicate effectively, they are able to feel at ease and happy in themselves and their work environment.

Topics covered:

  • How our mind creates false perceptions (of both work colleagues and work load/pressures) and how to quieten the negative-mind chatter
  • Key communication tools to create a positive workplace environment
  • How to use conflict and perceived negativity with colleagues to strengthen a worker’s belief in themselves
  • How to understand other people’s model of the world while also being able to communication your message effectively
  • How to gain respect and understanding from work colleagues
  • The importance of work / life balance

This information will be presented in various forms – individual activities, group discussions and exercises designed to give participants a greater understanding of how the mind works and what’s required for them to move past current challenges – with each participant receiving a information handout to take home.
Each participating will also be offered a complimentary half hour phone session to help them set an inspirational goal. This goal will be designed to assist them in getting clear about what is required to achieve workplace satisfaction and productivity both at home and at the office.

The relationship a person has with themselves (ie. how they think about themselves) sets the platform for:

  • how much enjoyment they derive from their job: thus leading to job satisfaction and long-term employment
  • how they will be treated by others: which allows them to enjoy their work environment and strengthen their belief in their abilities
  • their emotional stability and thus, their productivity.

Whenever you’re in conflict with someone, there is one factor that can make the difference between damaging your relationship and deepening it.

That factor is attitude.

WELLNESS IN THE WORKPLACE

Workshop

If a person isn’t giving to themselves, nurturing their mind, body and soul – and by that I mean eating the right foods, exercising, engaging in things they’re passionate about – they’re likely to run out of steam. As a result of this, the person’s work will falter, they will get sick more often, and they end up feeling pretty lousy.

In this one to three hour (depending on individual workplace needs) workshop, participants will learn what’s needed to have a healthy balance between work and home life. Once a person understands the importance of having ‘me time’ and what’s required to keep us functioning at our optimum, they’re able to deal with stress more effectively and enjoy work.

Topics covered:

  • The importance of work / life balance
  • Identifying the root cause of mental health in the workplace
  • How to eradicate stress from your life (both personally and professionally)
  • How to prime the mind and body to deal with pressure
  • The link between self-love and productivity at work
  • How to break negative patterns and understand where they come from

This information will be presented in various forms – individual activities, group discussions and exercises designed to give participants a greater understanding of how the mind works and what’s required for them to move past current challenges – with each participant receiving a information handout to take home.

Each participating will also be offered a complimentary half hour phone session to help them set an inspirational goal. This goal will be designed to assist them in getting clear about what is required to achieve workplace satisfaction and productivity both at home and at the office.

I believe that being successful means having a balance across the many areas

of your life. You can’t truly be considered successful in your business life

if your home life is in shambles.
